Appreciation
To
the Global Women of the Church of the Brethren and the Church of the Brethren in Indianapolis, Indiana, Dr. James Lemons, Mr. & Mrs. Kelley Davis, The Second Presbeyterian Church and all our contributors for sponsoring some of our girls in school. Ann & Kelly Cambell of Village Experience for helping with the selling of some of the crafts our women and girls make. Mike Perry of Lightning Struck Studios for recording our fundraiser CDs. And the volunteers who helped to keep our office in Indianapolis running in 2009. Please keep us in mind in 2010. We are still fighting. Thank you so much all of you and be blessed always.
2010-2013
From 2010-2013, we have four main goals: 1. To sustain girls in school. 2. To build a safe and accessible center to all women in central Uganda. 3. To purchace a car for the main office for efficiency and productivity. 4. To make a field trip to Uganda and Kenya.
If this is your first time to visit us and
you do not know what FGM is, below
is a pragrapgh for your information.
FGM (Female Genital Mutilation) or Women Circumcision is practiced openely or secretly in 28 countries around the world including: Uganda, Indonesia, Kenya, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, Nigeria, Somalia, Ethiopia, Sudan, and other countries in the middle East and Europe. Even though some governments have bent to the United Nation's pressure and now have a law in place prohibiting FGM practice, it is a tradition very resistant to change. It can only be fought from within the tribes. It will take many years to completely eradicate it from the face of the earth.
So, we continue with our mission of empowering the girls and the women in those tribes that used to or still practice FGM to fight for themselves. They are the only ones who can stop it.

Dreaming
An audio CD with ten
songs and a book of relics is now available for sale. Our goal
is to use music to educate children about the dangers of smoking and abusing drugs. Proceeds will still go towards sustaining disadvantaged
children in school. Price is $16 shipping included.
We are still looking for buyers for the crafts the women are making to sustain themselves and their families. Please contact us if you can help to sell or if you would like to support by buying a baket, a mat, a fibre doll, a banana fibre handbag, an embroidered table cloth, small drums for decoration or classroom use and more.
